Laura Anderson was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario and is thrilled to have returned home after many years of schooling to the area to provide Naturopathic medical care to area residents.

Laura completed 4 years at Trent University in the Honours Biology program, where she was awarded the Jean McKerracher scholarship for outstanding achievement in the Honours Biology program. Laura was also the recipient of the Clarence and Grace Watterson Scholarship and the Trent University National Scholarship each year while attending Trent. Laura then went on to complete a 4 year post graduate professional program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM)  in Toronto, to obtain her Naturopathic Medical diploma.

During her studies at CCNM, Laura traveled to India as a volunteer with the organization, Child Family Health International to learn and provide basic health care in local villages.  Laura completed a year long internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic (RSNC) which included a rotation on the pediatric shift. Laura also provided naturopathic care for HIV/AIDS patients at Sherbourne Community Health Center in Toronto. 

Laura is a licensed and board certified Naturopathic Doctor registered through the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy – Naturopathy.She is also a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors (APND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).

Laura currently runs a general family practice in Peterborough treating men, women and children with various acute and chronic conditions. She has a special interest in Women's Health, Fertility, Pregnancy and Pediatrics.
